What is your return policy?

Not 100% in love with your item(s) purchased from Discovery Building Sets? After receiving your order, you have 21 days to return it, as long as all item(s) are returned in new condition with the original unopened packaging and contents. 


If you find it necessary to return an item(s), you will need a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please contact our customer support team at for an RMA. This step ensures everything will go smoothly with your return. Unfortunately, we are not able to accept returns without an RMA. Please note that we currently do not offer returns after 21 days.


For returns, we’ll gladly refund your purchase price, excluding shipping and handling charges. You will be responsible for paying for your shipping costs for returning your item(s). Once we receive your return, we will process a refund to the original form of payment. Your bank may require 1-2 billing cycles to post this transaction to your account.

When will I receive a refund?

Just as quickly as possible! Any credits on your account with us will be refunded promptly as soon as we have received and processed the return. Once your return is received and inspected, we will process a refund to the original form of payment. For example, if the order was paid by credit card, we will credit your credit card account. Your bank may require 1-2 billing cycles to post this transaction to your account. 


How do I return a damaged product?

Unfortunately, things happen. Damaged merchandise includes items that have been damaged in shipping. Examine your shipment carefully when it arrives. If your order arrives with damage from shipping, please contact us immediately! It’s helpful to save all packaging material, paperwork, and photos.


How do I return a defective product?

If the item you wish to return is inoperable but has no apparent damage, it is considered defective. Please contact our customer support team at


Can I request an exchange?

Unfortunately, we only exchange items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item(s) for either of those reasons, please our contact customer support team at


If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

What about undeliverable or returned to sender packages?

Customers are responsible for entering the correct shipping address and are encouraged to check them before submitting an order. Once a package has been shipped, we cannot redirect it. Discovery Building Sets is not responsible for, nor able to refund or replace orders shipped to the incorrect address.

If your package is marked as undeliverable or returned to the sender, a reshipping fee will be required.

If you would like to cancel an order that has been refused or returned to us, the original shipping cost will be deducted from your refund amount as well as a 15% restocking fee.
